A year after leading an expedition that ended in tragedy, former war correspondent Ethan Dayne is given a second chance when the World Biodiversity Organization asks him to lead an expedition to film a documentary about the threat illegal commercial fishing poses to some of the world’s most pristine reefs. When it’s discovered several million dollars of heroin is hidden in the hold of their chartered dive boat, Varuna, Ethan, his film crew, dive master Addy Lee, and Varuna’s captain, Malik Bashir, discover the criminal organization trying to recover their merchandise isn’t the only thing hunting them.
